Registered Dental Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture. Rockaway Beach Dental is open to newly graduated Dental Assistants who are looking to start their Dental Assisting career at this awesome beach side office.
Compensation Range: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour based on experience
Qualifications:
- Prior Dental Assistant experience 1 years preferred
- Prior working experience with Dentrix highly preferred
- Experience with Invisalign and iTero scanning highly preferred
- Dental Assistant Certificate required in California
- X-ray certification where state regulations specify
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Working Environment & Physical Requirements
This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, leaning, and bending. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
