The RCM Trainer will conduct in-depth AR audits for each practice and provide a detailed report with actionable recommendations. The RCM Trainer will design and deliver customized training to each office based on their individual needs and monitor the practice’s progress for improved results.

Additionally, the RCM Trainer will support the RCM onboarding efforts for new practices joining Gen4, including reviewing AR reports (pre-close) and training new practice team members on RCM processes (post close).

Job Highlights:

  • Streamline RCM Processes: work with RCM Leadership team to streamline RCM process. Create RCM Manual and training materials. Train RCM and front office team members on RCM policies and processes to achieve best practice results.
  • Create and Publish training schedule, to include “lunch and learns”, monthly TEAM meetings, SharePoint announcements, and in-office training.
  • “RCM KPI Analysis”: create a detailed analysis of Key Performance Indicators for the Revenue Cycle, identifying areas of success and areas that fall below recommended Collections and Accounts Receivable benchmarks for healthy practices. This analysis will measure the office’s current Collections and AR data while visualizing and tracking KPI’s. The analysis will be divided into the categories of Patient AR, Insurance AR, and Adjustments in order to identify and complete the training and support needed for each practice.
  • “RCM Wellness Checks”: based on the KPI analysis, schedule “RCM Wellness Checks” with the practices. Make recommendations for improvement and increased efficiencies. In collaboration with the Sr. RCM Managers, provide RCM Wellness Check Report and summary of Main Training Targets to the practice and Director of Ops. Schedule follow-up meetings to ensure recommendations are being met and KPIs are trending correctly.
  • “RCM Training Visit Report”: for offices that are off-track with KPI’s, the RCM Trainer will plan a follow up visit for approximately one month from the initial Wellness Check. During these visits, review changes in the office KPI’s, follow up on recommendations, and work with the Practice Manager and staff for ongoing customized training. Continue monthly visits until the KPI’s are trending on track, then move to quarterly visit. After each visit, the Practice Manager, Director of Ops, and Sr. RCM Managers will receive an RCM Training Visit Report with recommendations and actionable next steps.
  • "Hot Spot” Practices: for offices that are not seeing improvement in KPIs within 3 months, the Practice Manager will send a weekly Practice RCM Accountability Report to the RCM Trainer and Director of Ops which will outline the actions being taken by the practice to improve Collections and AR in the recommended RCM target areas. With these reports, the RCM Trainer will develop further recommendations and training opportunities.
  • For offices that are on track with RCM KPI’s, provide annual KPI analysis and RCM Wellness Checks.
