Job Description

We are looking for a Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Sales Order workflows and SAP S/4HANA to support a global digital transformation program. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of workflow solutions focused on Sales Order processing and approvals, ensuring efficient, compliant, and scalable sales operations across global business units.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Design and implement Sales Order workflow solutions in SAP S/4HANA, including approval processes, blocking/release strategies, and automation of sales order processing.
  • Configure and support Sales Orders, Outbound Deliveries, and Billing processes within SAP SD.
  • Define and manage sales-related approval workflows, including business rules, thresholds, and multi-level approval chains.
  • Collaborate with SAP MM and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration between sales, procurement, and billing processes.
  • Drive the refinement of the project backlog in Jira, ensuring workflow-related dependencies are identified early in the Program Increment (PI).
  • Partner with business stakeholders to design scalable and compliant end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) workflow solutions.
  • Support testing, deployment, and hypercare activities related to workflow implementations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of SAP SD experience, with strong expertise in Sales Order processing and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Mandatory experience with Sales Order workflow functionality, including approvals, release processes, and workflow automation.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
  • Experience with Flexible Workflow in S/4HANA and/or classic release strategies.
  • Experience with integration points between SAP SD, MM, and Finance (FI).
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks, including tools such as Jira and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
  • Experience working in large-scale transformation programs, ideally within SAFe or similar Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional, global environments.
