Job Description

FuseFX has an opening in Atlanta !  We have an opportunity at our studio for a Receptionist.

This position supports the office by answering phones, greeting guests, keeping items in stock and general office organization and coordination.

FuseFX is an award-winning Visual Effects Studio providing visual effects services for episodic television, feature films, commercials, virtual productions, and VR. Founded in 2006, the company employs 800+ personnel across eight studio locations and three brands. Our flagship studio is in Los Angeles, CA, with locations in New York City, Vancouver, BC., and Atlanta. Our Montreal, Toronto, and Bogota studios are serviced by FOLKS VFX, who joined FuseFX in 2020. The Adelaide, Australia studio is serviced by Rising Sun Pictures, who joined FuseFX in 2021.

Responsibilities:


  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner

  • Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner and answer any questions visitors have

  • Maintain reception area and all common areas to be clean and tidy at all times

  • Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis

  • Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received

  • Receive deliveries, and sort and distribute incoming mail

  • Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed

  • Basic facilitation of general office meetings, including maintaining office calendars

Traits of a Successful FuseFX Receptionist:


  • Must be a team player that thrives on problem solving

  • Able to maintain a positive and professional attitude no matter the challenges put in front of them

  • Clear communicator, with great problem-solving skills and strong initiative

  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a high level of attention to detail

  • Basic understanding of common software including MS Office, and email
