Job Description

What your weeks are going to look like

  • Daily Scrum-type meetings;
  • Develop a relationship of trust with the partner by acting as the main point of contact in your area of expertise;
  • Contribute to the various stages of video game design and production as part of a multidisciplinary production team; 
  • Communicate smoothly with other departments (design, art, production) for optimal integration of the various project components;
  • Contribute your expertise to determine the most appropriate technical means for the project to achieve the desired results;
  • Ensure code quality and the application of good development practices (code reviews, testing, optimization);
  • Mobilize, supervise and support your direct team by ensuring their coaching through continuous feedback;
  • Collaborate with your technical director (Core Team) to ensure alignment with company standards.

In short, a management role in which you'll still be involved at a technical level, with varied responsibilities that evolve over time, stimulating projects and FUN every day!

Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • University or college degree in computer science or equivalent; 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of development experience;
  • Experience as a lead programmer or in a similar position;
  • Mastery of the Unreal game engine;
  • Ability to travel outside the country as required;
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both French and English. English skills are required as we work with English-speaking partners.
