Job Description
We're looking for a strategic FP&A manager to serve as the finance business partner for our North America GTM organization, supporting Field Sales and Customer Success.
This is a manager-level individual contributor role for someone who enjoys influencing business decisions—not just reporting results. You'll partner directly with GTM leadership to connect operational performance to financial outcomes, challenge assumptions, identify growth opportunities, and help shape investment decisions across the business.
You'll own forecasting and planning, but success in this role isn't measured by producing reports. It's measured by your ability to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights that improve business performance.
If you enjoy working alongside Sales and Customer Success leaders, building scalable financial models, and leveraging AI and automation to spend more time on strategy than reporting, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the strategic finance partner for North America Field Sales and Customer Success leadership, providing financial guidance that influences business decisions and investment priorities
- Lead monthly forecasting, annual planning, and long-range planning by connecting operational drivers to financial outcomes
- Analyze GTM performance by evaluating key business drivers, including sales productivity, headcount, operating expenses, ARR, bookings, customer metrics, and other SaaS performance indicators
- Translate financial results into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for senior business leaders, Finance leadership, and executive stakeholders
- Challenge business assumptions using data-driven analysis, scenario modeling, and financial insights to improve decision-making
- Build scalable financial models that support hiring decisions, resource allocation, investment planning, and business growth
- Drive continuous improvements across forecasting, reporting, and planning processes by leveraging AI, automation, and modern finance tools
- Partner closely with Accounting during monthly close to deliver timely, accurate forecasts and meaningful variance analysis
- Support quarterly Board materials, executive reporting, and strategic initiatives across the GTM organization
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of FP&A or Strategic Finance experience, preferably within a high-growth SaaS environment
- Experience supporting Go-to-Marketing organizations including Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, or Marketing
- Demonstrated ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomes and influence business decisions through analysis
- Strong experience with forecasting, annual planning, financial modeling, and executive-level business partnership
- Experience working with SaaS metrics such as ARR, bookings, sales productivity, headcount, CAC, LTV, retention, operating expenses, or other commercial performance metrics
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills with experience building complex financial models
- Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning preferred
- Experience using AI and automation tools to improve finance processes and increase analytical capacity
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear business recommendations
- Comfortable working across global teams, including collaboration with APAC-based colleagues
Additional Information
Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tues - Thurs) from our San Mateo, CA headquarters.
