Job Description

As the Senior Manager of Sales Finance FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the global field sales team by serving as a strategic business partner for a group of SVPs. In this position, you will lead the annual financial planning process for field sales, collaborating closely with field sales leaders to develop comprehensive business and financial plans and ensuring their seamless operationalization. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a business partner to three SVPs of regional field sales, the SVP of sales engineering, and the VP of business development
  • Lead the annual financial planning process for field sales including working with the field sales leaders to develop the business and financial plans, and to ensure the plans are operationalized. 
  • Lead a team of finance professionals to drive FP&A activities in the field sales finance organization. This includes leading a team based in India. 
  • Responsible for the ARR forecasting and development and tracking of key sales metrics (pipeline analysis, sales capacity, and sales attainment)
  • Responsible for headcount and expense management, including sales commission forecasting
  • Drive data-driven decision support to the organization by compiling inputs and underlying assumptions, coupled with knowledge and expertise of business areas 
  • Liaise and collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional leaders to obtain assumptions, identify key metrics, assess impacts, and run sensitivity/scenario analysis to provide decision support 
  • Build scalable processes and systems to provide transparency and efficiency across the organization
  • Lead internal projects and new business opportunities based on modeling and net present value evaluations for alternative scenarios 
  • Prepare presentations targeted at senior sales and finance management and the Board of Directors
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the finance team in India

Please note this is a hybrid opportunity 3x/week onsite (Tuesday - Thursday) in either our San Mateo (HQ) or Bellevue, WA office locations. 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • 10+ years of related experience in finance business partnering and FP&A
  • Excellent business communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail; working in a conscientious consistent, and thorough manner 
  • Solid analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability 
  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • Ability to collaborate across departments with external stakeholders
  • Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities 

Preferred Skills & Experience 

  • Master's degree in Finance or Economics
  • Prior experience in a SaaS company 
  • Prior experience in ARR forecasting
  • Prior experience with sales commissions
  • Prior experience supporting a field sales organization
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team of direct reports

Additional Information

Washington Pay Range: $217,000 - $330,000. This range is inclusive of base+bonus. 

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
