Job Description
Freshworks is looking for a Localization Specialist to manage the day-to-day running of localization projects for our Demand Generation campaigns. As a Localization Specialist, you will be responsible for multilingual marketing content projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, reporting to the Head of Localization in the Global Brand & Digital Experience team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Localization and international Demand Generation Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up, managing, and delivering localized Demand Generation Marketing content, including pillar assets such as ebooks and reports, as well as supporting content such as landing pages, email campaigns, digital advertising and video
- Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders across the marketing organization
- Ensure timely delivery of project deadlines
- Prepare content for localization and provide agencies with clear briefs, content and project deadlines
- Maintain working relationships with agencies and other vendors
- Report on progress of each project and anticipate bottlenecks and re-prioritize accordingly
- Manage and create glossaries, briefs and LQA reports
- Submit and manage projects in our Translation Management System
- Apply l10n, t9n and i18n best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in roles focused on international marketing, localization, content marketing and/or demand generation
- Specific experience in Translation Management Systems, such as XTM, Smartling and Phrase
- Experience working in Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) Tools
- Experience working with Language Service Providers (LSP) and Subject-Matter Experts (SME)
- Knowledge of l10n, t9n and i18n best practices and processes
- Knowledge Linguistic Quality Assurance best practices (LQA)
- Basic experience in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
- Some experience working in content management systems (CMS) like Drupal, WordPress, Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines
- Proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English.
- Basic experience with project management tools such as Hive, Wrike or Monday.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
