Job Description
The Senior Director of Enterprise Applications, reporting to the CIO, will lead and have overarching responsibility for Freshworks’ Back Office Business Applications landscape which consists of a portfolio of business applications supporting our Finance, HR and Legal functions. You will lead an expanding global team of business analysts, developers, program managers and people managers who deliver and manage various SaaS business solutions for our business users.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create the vision and strategy for our enterprise architecture, including integration, automation, and data governance
- Manage the deployment and maintenance of all business related systems which includes the ERP, HRIS, and associated connected applications.
- Partner with business and operational leaders in Finance, HR, Legal functions to redesign and automate business processes to ensure all processes can scale
- Develop careers and leaders across the team using growth development plans, coaching, and mentorship, with a focus on technical and non-technical professional development
- Be seen as a technical thought leader both inside and outside the company
- Drive the implementation of processes that enable SOX compliance
- Build and develop an application automation team that will improve efficiency in our business applications and also be a hub for automation across other programs and platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a technology-related field, or equivalent work or education-related experience.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a leadership role managing business applications in a predominantly SaaS first environment
- Experience working with cross-team/matrixed organizations influencing multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Proven experience in delivering enterprise solutions that scale, perform, and deliver great end user digital experiences
- Demonstrated history of building and leading successful global and remote teams, and developing people through coaching and mentoring
- Adept at influencing business partners and creating frameworks where business users can safely and effectively create automation that delivers business results.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skills with proven executive level engagement.
- Experience deploying and managing various SaaS business applications such as NetSuite, Workday, Zoura, and web content management platforms.
- Must be able to effectively liaise with internal direct reports and senior management as well as external customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills.
