Job Description
Role and responsibilities
Understand customer requirements and business challenges to architect a workable solution with a convincing value proposition by collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams
Effectively communicate solutions architecture to the customer, Partners and the technical teams
Scope each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria. Engage with strategic accounts during Sales cycle to position Freshworks Value and owns the Solution Design process
Design and develop integrations, architecture and advanced customisation utilizing Freshworks Marketplace platform
Participate in code reviews and configuration reviews and ensure that the development best practices are adhered to
Participate in customer calls to discuss the business use cases and appropriately take decisions in collaboration with the customer
Provide solutions to our technical team
Respond to customer and partner inquiries, including requests for proposals (RFPs)
Mentor the Developers in the team
Provide architectural blueprints for the customers.
Become the trusted technical advisor to customers and partners from an overall solution, architecture and implementation perspective for Freshworks
Own each technical engagement, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value
Understand the Freshworks product market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of Freshworks product capabilities and constraints. This will include understanding the data pipelines and code base of our Developer SDK for different products.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology solutions architecture role
Minimum 3 years experience in software development
Proficient in any one frontend frameworks such as jQuery, Node , Ember, Angular etc desirable
Experience in developing and consuming REST web services and working in a microservice environment is a plus
Experience with cloud service providers (AWS) is mandatory
Excellent oral communication , strong documentation and technical writing skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Broad understanding of information technology topics
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability
Project management and leadership skills are essential
Experience in software engineering and design architecture
