Job Description

Role and responsibilities 

  • Understand customer requirements and business challenges to architect a workable solution with a convincing value proposition by collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams

  • Effectively communicate solutions architecture to the customer, Partners and the technical teams

  • Scope each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria. Engage with strategic accounts during Sales cycle to position Freshworks Value and owns the Solution Design process

  • Design and develop integrations, architecture and advanced customisation utilizing Freshworks Marketplace platform

  • Participate in code reviews and configuration reviews and ensure that the development best practices are adhered to

  • Participate in customer calls to discuss the business use cases and appropriately take decisions in collaboration with the customer

  • Provide solutions to our technical team

  • Respond to customer and partner inquiries, including requests for proposals (RFPs)

  • Mentor the  Developers in the team

  • Provide architectural blueprints for the customers.

  • Become the trusted technical advisor to customers and partners from an overall solution, architecture and implementation perspective for Freshworks

  • Own each technical engagement, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value

  • Understand the Freshworks product  market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.

  • Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of Freshworks product capabilities and constraints. This will include understanding the data pipelines and code base of our Developer SDK for different products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

  • Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology solutions architecture role

  • Minimum 3 years experience in software development

  • Proficient in any one frontend frameworks such as jQuery, Node , Ember, Angular etc  desirable

  • Experience in developing and consuming REST web services and working in a microservice environment is a plus

  • Experience with cloud service providers (AWS) is mandatory

  • Excellent oral communication , strong documentation and technical writing skills.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Broad understanding of information technology topics

  • Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability

  • Project management and leadership skills are essential

  • Experience in software engineering and design architecture
