Job Description

The Role:

There is a major digital shift happening within Frasers Group. The Optimisation Manager will help in driving our digital roadmap, also has the potential to operate across a broad remit, providing constant analysis and developing new strategies and tactics to optimise the user journey across Search, Merch & Personalisation. 

You will be integral in creating a relevant and data driven Search & Visual Merchandising strategy, adopting best in class strategies and developing forward thinking features that will help us drive the performance of each brand forward, in line with the Frasers Group aspirations. We are looking to personalise the experience across every touch point and you will be at the heart of delivering that for each brand, to make the consumer’s experience feel as personable as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support digital optimisation lead on a product discoverability roadmap.  
  • Drive the vision for onsite search optimisation across fascias, enhancing the search experience to meet business goals. 
  • Overseeing data driven, customer-centric merchandising strategies.   
  • Contribute to and manage digital projects from concept to delivery from an optimisation point of view.  
  • Work with our CDP team to understand how we better utilise customer data and increase 1:1 personalisation.  
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to optimise customer experiences during trade events and other key initiatives. 
  • Manage the day to day relationship with the search and merch vendors 
  • Manage and mentor the optimisation team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. 
  • Ensure the team is aligned with strategic objectives and deliverables, providing guidance and support where needed. 
  • Work with experimentation team to ensure best in class AB testing programme on the search and merch platform.  
  • Utilise data insights to identify customer pain points in the journey, presenting actionable recommendations for optimisationand then prioritisation of these changes within roadmap.   
  • Oversee weekly trade reporting, ensuring clear communication of progress and results to stakeholders. 
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement, regularly reviewing and refining optimisation processes, tools, and strategies based on feedback and performance metrics. 

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a digital optimisation role. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Deep understanding of data-driven strategies and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans. 
  • Expertise in onsite search optimisation and merchandising tools (such as Algolia or Attraqt.) 
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience in A/B testing and interpreting data. 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives from concept to delivery. 
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Experience of analytical tools (such as GA and ContentSquare.)  
  • Experience managing day to day relationships with third party tools.
