Sports Direct is seeking a Part Time Sales Assistant to join our dynamic retail team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will be at the heart of our store operations, delivering exceptional customer service whilst maintaining our high standards of merchandising and stock management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys supporting both customers and colleagues.

• Provide friendly and professional customer service, assisting customers with product selection and enquiries • Operate the till and POS system accurately, processing transactions and handling payments • Maintain store appearance by organising and merchandising stock displays in line with company standards • Conduct regular stock checks and replenishment, ensuring products are readily available • Support the wider team in achieving sales targets and store objectives
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues where necessary • Comply with all health and safety regulations and store policies • Assist with store opening and closing procedures as required • Maintain a clean and organised store environment

• Proven customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment • Proficiency with till and POS systems • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work flexibly within a part-time schedule
• Excellent organisational and time-keeping abilities • Capability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment • Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team • Desirable: Previous experience in sports retail or knowledge of sports and fitness products • Desirable: Experience in stock management and merchandising
