Overview:

An opportunity has arisen for an event day Logistics staff to join us on a casual basis.  The main purpose of the role is to provide guests with an excellent customer experience serving a variety of food and drinks in our in-house concessions outlets.

Hours of work:

This role is offered on a Casual Worker basis with no guarantee of work.

Shift assignments are fully flexible and may include early starts, late finishes and weekend working

Rates of pay for this role start from £12.21 inclusive of holiday pay per hour which rises to £13.67 per hour. 

The Logistics team are the movers and shakers at the CBS Arena. They prepare conference rooms. Exhibitions, Banquet dinners and business meetings for all of our clients.  

The role involves moving tables, chairs, and other furniture from room to room, and into store cupboards when not in use. You will then dress the tables and arrange the room to the client’s specifications.  

Logistics work closely with the hospitality department and often interact with clients, so a professional attitude and appearance is paramount.  

Responsibilities: 

• Providing all customers at the CBS Arena with excellent customer service  

• Able to take initiative and follow instruction from management  

• To ensure the safe moving of all furniture within the arena from room to room.  

• To be responsible for setting function rooms as per business requirements ensuring they are clean and ready for use once finished. 

• Liaising with all departments of the arena and interacting with clients and CBS arena staff members  

• To be reliable with a flexible approach to work. 

• Days, nights & weekends availability. 

• Able to work in a fast paced environment

• Punctual attendance for all shifts  

• Able to lift, carry and move a variety of furniture.  

• Able to use basic moving equipment.
