Sports Direct is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Temporary Sales Assistant to join our team in London, United Kingdom. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment, helping customers find the perfect sports equipment and apparel for their needs.

• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with product selection and enquiries
• Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction
• Stay informed about product ranges, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers
• Assist with visual merchandising to create attractive and effective product displays
• Handle customer returns and exchanges in line with company policies
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge, particularly in sports and fitness equipment

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Enthusiasm for sports and fitness, with knowledge of related products (preferred)
• Previous retail experience, particularly in a sports or fashion environment (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Keen eye for detail in maintaining product displays and store presentation
