    Job Description

    To continue the growth of our Brand, we are looking for an experienced make-up artist to join the team based in Flannels Flagship store in Sheffield on a part time 20h per week contract.

    The Opportunity

    • Provide expert application of Pat McGrath Lab cosmetics products from everyday looks to special events
    •  Assist clients with product knowledge, makeup applications, and purchases with the brand and throughout the store
    • With training provided, we expect you to maintain specialised product knowledge and reinforce the Pat McGrath application techniques with your team
    • Accountable for achieving sales goals and maintain consistent and regular appointment bookings 
    • Analyse sales and create strategies with management to consistently meet and exceed goals
    • An expert in cosmetics, you will share your knowledge to provide our customers with exceptional and personalised service
    • Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience. From selling and replenishing stock & visual standards, to hosting and relationship building, you understand there is more to the customer experience than just selling ​
    • Manage customer feedback, and use it constructively to continually raise the bar for service, sales and retail standards
    • Adapt to the challenges that vary from day to day. A flexible role, you may be required to work on different departments, taking your service excellence and collaborative spirit with you​
    • Use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest trends by taking every opportunity to expand your knowledge of products and competitors ​
    • Own the planning and delivery of in-store events
    • Be confident to lead masterclasses and trainings both one to one and to a group
    • Replenish stock as needed and keep testers and counter clean and attractive to ensure the brand is presented at the highest level and hygiene standards are met
    • Ability to build a clientele and a loyal repeat customer base. 
    • Understand and follow health, safety and security procedures, and play an active role in preventing stock loss
    • Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Experienced Lead Makeup Artist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience     
    • Ability to perform high quality makeup applications that align with the brand service menu is essential
    • Confidently connects artistry and education to sales
    • Social/digital portfolio of work with significant following preferred
    • Comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and latest products
    • A great communicator. You will be able to positively engage with all customers with varying needs and requirements​
    • Well Informed. You will develop excellent product knowledge by following trends and being aware of our competitor’s activity, along with taking part in brand training​
    • Known to be a sales and service expert. You’ll use these skills to deliver the extraordinary each and every time and take the initiative to provide additional services where appropriate ​
    • Flexible. Responsive to business needs, you are happy and comfortable to take responsibility for tasks that may go beyond the role expectation​
    • A confident coach, and self-driven to upskill and learn. Work with management, trainers and brand artists to learn brand expertise and develop personal artistry skills

    • Able to work retail hours on a 20h part time basis, including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment

    Additional Information

    The Rewards:

    • Basic salary £28,256 pro rata
