Job Description
- Serving as the key contact for the overseas finance teams, organise regular meetings and drive continuous improvement culture
- Collaborating with the overseas finance teams and supporting them with their close processes, ensuring all financial reporting for the Group is completed on time
- Overseeing and reviewing monthly management accounts, including the profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow statement, challenge and investigate variances and ensure local accountability for reconciliations
- Coordinating, reviewing and supporting the production of budgets and forecasts across the international segment
- Direct line management of UK based Management Accountant and matrix management of the overseas finance teams
- Understanding and monitoring the Transfer pricing model and compliance across the European businesses
- Ensuring consistency and compliance across overseas entities for tax regulations and accounting standards
- Ensuring the annual audit for UK entities in the International segment runs smoothly and on time
- Supporting the group & statutory audits for relevant entities
- Assisting Head of Finance with the integration of new subsidiaries and project work as required
- Ad-hoc support to wider UK & International finance team as required
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualified experience, previous industry experience preferable
- Driven and focused at achieving goals within a deadline
- Scope for travel to overseas offices
- Ability to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders across the business
- Analytical minded
- Excited by new challenges and creating new processes
