Job Description

  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts- working with Group Accountants, Management Accountants and External Auditors
  • Using CCH software to prepare subsidiary statutory financial statements
  • Keeping the Group’s company database (approx. 500 companies) up to date
  • Oversee submission process to Companies House Group financial statements (IFRS):
  • Analysis of key areas of the Group accounts, including: IFRS 9 fair value of hedge accounting and equity investments, IFRS 16 Lease accounting, Impairment reviews of subsidiary investments/receivable balances, Goodwill & Intangibles
  • Assisting with integration of new consolidation software and completion of the Group Consolidation file
  • Owning the data gathering for key parts of the Annual Report
  • Assist with preparation of Corporation Tax returns
  • Assisting with iXBRL tagging

Qualifications

  • Part qualified with at least 2 years experience in a finance function
  • Experience preparing management accounts
  • Month end experience 
  • Good knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS
  • Able to manage and prioritise a busy workload
  • Looking to grow a career with a global commercial business
  • Highly motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently but also enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment
