Job Description:

Pay Rate:  $19.00 per hour.

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

  • Responsible for all ranch operations in the manager’s absence, which includes chicken house environmental adjustments, proper disposal of daily mortality, operations of tractors and equipment for the cleaning of chicken houses and farm maintenance, set up and placement of birds, preparation for ship out of birds, safety and environmental compliance, management of farm labor, communication with higher authority.
  • Provides labor for brooding, vaccinating birds and clean out of ranch.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Good management skills: personnel, organizational skills, conscientious, accepts responsibility, shows interest in ranch management.
  • Outstanding motivation: must be self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Good work record.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
