Job Description
As an RGM Analyst, you will support data-driven decision-making by analyzing pricing, promotions, assortment, and market trends to help drive profitable sales growth. You will work with internal and external data to uncover opportunities and challenges, providing insights that guide go-to-market strategies across retail, commercial, eCommerce, and direct-to-consumer channels.

RESPONSIBLIITIES:
What you will be doing
Strategic Analysis & Insights
- Conduct analysis on pricing, promotions, and assortment to support business objectives and financial goals.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to Marketing, Sales, and Finance to improve sales and profitability.
- Analyze competitive pricing and market trends, sharing insights with cross-functional teams.
Pricing & Promotion Management
- Assist in developing pricing models to support revenue and profitability goals.
- Track and analyze promotional activities by item, channel, and category.
- Help create promotional strategies and assess their financial impact.
- Support internal customer line reviews and analyze potential financial effects.
Pricing Administration Support
- Implement pricing and pricing concessions into the ERP system in a timely and accurate manner ensuring customers are invoiced accurately.
- Own process to ensure price adjustments are implemented into the ERP system. Communicate and distribute accurate customer net price files detailing price adjustments.
- Partner with external customers and internal stakeholders to resolve any pricing discrepancies or issues.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain dashboards to track results.
- Improve reporting processes related to pricing, promotions, and assortment.
- Assist in developing tools to measure pricing and promotional effectiveness.
- Leverage data analysis techniques to generate insights that support decision-making.
- Help identify new data sources and analytical tools to enhance strategies.
Collaboration & Influence
- Work with cross-functional teams to support pricing and promotion decisions.
- Contribute to business planning, category management, and channel strategy discussions.
- Communicate data insights in a clear and actionable way to stakeholders.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience, including at least 1 year in RGM, Pricing, Category Management, Sales, or Finance.
- Strong understanding of key business metrics and their impact (e.g., margin, market share, price elasticity).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing large datasets.
- Ability to create data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Detail-oriented with a track record of delivering accurate, impactful results.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in retail environments with price elasticity and market modeling.
Additional Information
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $56,000 - $84,700 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
