Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Environmental Services Manager (EVS Manager) to oversee and lead the environmental services operations at a multi-site senior living community in Billings, MT. This individual will manage a team of hourly employees to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and overall operational efficiency across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will be a skilled leader with a proven track record of managing housekeeping or environmental services teams in healthcare or long-term care environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of environmental services professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets, including payroll, supplies, and equipment.
- Foster collaboration between EVS staff and facility administration to maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Drive client and resident satisfaction by consistently meeting and exceeding cleanliness and safety expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Implement and uphold policies and procedures related to sanitation, cleaning protocols, and safety standards.
- Recruit, evaluate, and retain talent for the EVS department, addressing performance issues and corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or a similar role within a healthcare or senior living environment.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop hourly staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and industry regulatory standards related to environmental services operations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and departments.
Physical Demands:
The Environmental Services Manager stands and walks intermittently throughout the working day, as well as reaches, stoops, bends, lifts, and carries supplies and equipment. The Environmental Service Manager must have the ability to work with chemicals/cleaning agents and must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds (50lbs).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an exempt salaried position, with expected hours to include: days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.
