Forefront Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Controller to join our finance/accounting team. This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company.
As the Assistant Controller you will report directly to the Controller and play a vital role in supporting and managing the accounting operations of the Forefront Healthcare This is a hands-on as well as oversight role. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures, and assisting in budget management, audits, and compliance task
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for:
Ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting principles and procedures, and assisting in budget management, audits, and compliance tasks
Responsible for cash management duties and strategies for the maximization of cashflow such as daily cash monitoring, accounts receivables aging and collections monitoring, accounts payable monitoring and oversight.
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain all general ledger accounts and oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
Ensure completion of monthly balance sheet account reconciliation workpapers.
Coordinate internal and external audits, providing all necessary documentation and reports
Assist in developing and implementing internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and compliance Intercompany due to/from settlements and reconciliations
Support tax filings and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
Support budget preparation and assist in financial forecasting
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training
Monthly financial performance review with assigned operations managers, directors, and divisional presidents
Collaborate with departments to ensure alignment of financial practices with business objectives
Participate in special projects and provide financial analysis as required

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Must exhibit proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• BS in Accounting with 4+ years of accounting work experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP required
• Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required
• Experience with WorkDay a plus but not required
Additional Information
Salary: $90-$110k year
