On-Site Monetization Specialist
- Full-time
- Department: Data
Company Description
Forbes Advisor provides consumers with journalist- and expert-written insights, news, and reviews on all things personal finance. Our goal is to help consumers make informed decisions by providing them with the knowledge and research they need.
We are seeking a full-time On-Site Monetization Specialist to join our Monetization Operations team. Reporting to the Senior Monetization Operations Manager, this role is focused on hands-on implementation of monetization placements within our CMS, including building, updating, and QA’ing affiliate links and tracking across the site.
This is a highly execution-focused role. The majority of day-to-day work takes place directly in WordPress (and similar CMS environments), working with links, placements, and tracking structures. This role is not focused on managing affiliate campaigns or partnerships, but rather on ensuring that monetization is accurately implemented, properly tracked, and consistently maintained on-site.
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working across multiple platforms — implementing changes, validating tracking, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a high standard of accuracy across a large number of pages and placements.

Audit & Quality Control
- Conduct regular audits of pages to ensure links are active, tracking is correct, and placements are implemented as expected.

- Respond to requests from SEM, SEO, and Commercial teams, prioritizing based on urgency and impact.
