Job Description
We, at Flywire, believe people are our greatest asset. Working as part of the global People & Culture team, this individual will be on the front lines of creating an exceptional FlyMate experience by providing office and administrative support in a positive, proactive, and efficient manner. Our ideal candidate has high energy, flexibility, and a strong sense of drive and integrity to provide excellent service and support each day.
This position will report into the regional People & Culture Director.
The Opportunity:
Provide daily support to our FlyMates based regionally
Be the face of Flywire when guests enter our space, greeting and assisting them as needed
Manage office administration, making sure our office is running smoothly and that FlyMates have the essentials for a productive working environment including coffee, snacks, office supplies, business cards etc.
Maintain safe and clean office common areas that make FlyMates proud to work in such as a great office; this includes tidying the kitchen and conference room areas, running the dishwasher, handling shipping and deliveries, receiving calls and voicemails for the main phone line etc.
Manage relationships with vendors and building management to ensure that office equipment and facilities are serviced and working
Propose, plan and coordinate events and initiatives to keep our FlyMates connected and engaged in a Hybrid-model work environment (For both, our remote FlyMates and at the office like lunches, team events and holiday parties to enhance Flywire’s culture)
Support local recruiting efforts and assist with onsite interviews to ensure successful candidate visits
Build, enhance and spread Flywire’s culture through the entire organization
Work to amaze every FlyMate and make Flywire a company that people absolutely love
Support the People & Culture team by assisting on additional administrative projects as needed
Qualifications
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
2+ office experience working at a global company and rapid growth startup environment (preferred)
Outstanding interpersonal skills in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
The ability to multitask and apply strong attention to detail to everything you do
Flexibility and the willingness to help the team as needed
High emotional intelligence
Strong proactive initiative and resourcefulness
A startup mentality, as well as an ability and interest in wearing multiple hats
International experience/exposure; studied, lived or worked abroad is a plus
