Job Description
Kōrero mō te tūranga (about the role)
We’re looking for a talented Manager, Information Security to lead the establishment and development of our new information security practice. You will be responsible for operating model definition, team and capability development, and embedding security discipline across a complex, critical infrastructure, environment. The role will be the primary point of contact for all cyber and information security matters – internally and externally.
Reporting to the CTIO as part of the Technology and Improvement team this is a practitioner-leader role. You’ll lead a team of employees and contractors focused on the development and delivery of Clarus’s security strategy, and the leadership of our security response.
Qualifications
Mōu (about you)
As well as being confident, pragmatic, people focused leader, you'll also have:
7+ years’ hands on security operations experience, including building and running security programmes.
Substantial experience in information security, with a record of establishing security programmes and functions.
Operational credibility in both IT and OT domains, that includes experience operating within regulated industries with experience undertaking regulatory engagement.
Strong experience in security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and vendor oversight.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and nontechnical audiences.
A CISSP (or equivalent) and a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
Nice to have (but not essential):
Energy or utilities sector experience.
OT security certification (e.g. GICSP).
Crisis or emergency management experience.
