From starting out in Taranaki our Firstgas, Rockgas, Firstlight Network, First Renewables, Flexgas and Gas Service NZ operations now span the length and breadth of Aotearoa — so you’re never far away from our good energy. Clarus is investing in opportunities to develop greener alternatives to natural gas and LPG - like partnering with Ecogas to deliver New Zealand’s first renewable biomethane project, and working with other gas distributors to trial hydrogen blending.  We care about the communities where we live and work and are guided by principles of inclusiveness, kaitiakitanga and excellence.

And right now, we looking for technology students to join us this summer to work on a business improvement project.  

Not only will you get to be part of an exciting project that delivers value; you'll also be earning the living wage and working alongside our talented team in Bell Block.

This role is more than just an internship - expect to get out and about in the field, access to support that will grow you both personally and professionally, as well as contribute to community initiatives that we support.  Oh and did we mention we'll sort you with a cool Taranaki experience (last year's students chose to go on a wildlife boat tour!).

To be successful in this summer role you'll need:

• To be studying towards your technology degree (Data science, digital services, network and cyber, etc) - preferably in your 2nd year+.
• A motivated problem solver.
• An eagerness to develop and learn (and teach us a thing or two along the way).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team and work independently.
