As we move into the next stage of developing our storage facility at Ahuroa, we’re seeking a Production Technicians to carry out operator duties for the Ahuroa Gas Storage facility and associated assets, including the pipeline and our Assets located at Stratford Power Station. The role is part of shift team to ensure any facility or well related issue can be promptly responded to ensure reliability of gas storage services.
Roll up your sleeves and get ready to utilise your specialist technical knowledge associated with well performance testing, pipeline maintenance and technical fault finding.
Is this you?
- A commitment to safety – it’s our priority, and will need to be yours
- Experienced operating and monitoring safety control systems, wellheads and processing facilities, including multistage gas compressors
- Thrive in challenging and complex environments
- A strong team player capable of interacting professionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage priorities, situations and escalations effectively
- Enchem level 3 or 4 certificate or equivalent company internal unit standards (preferred)
- Comfortable working on a shift roster
- Embrace change and learning new things, we’re on a journey of continuous improvement
Qualifications
You will bring:
- A willingness to learn, develop and share knowledge
- Current Drivers Licence
- Suitable Mechanical or Instrument Trade Qualification
- Preferred NZQA Certificate in Gas Transmission or Petrochemical Industry
