Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
The key responsibility of this role is to reduce lead time/increase efficiency and align to overall banks strategic direction towards AI / automation using the latest tools of using various tools. The role covers conducting detailed review of all the dashboards, MIS processes and reports to assess the ones that can be generated by automating them. This role is not limited to Portfolio analytics, but also across reports generated for approval and disbursal monitoring, Collections MIS, Portfolio packs, Test tracking and such to support senior management, CBUAE reports etc.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Generic Accountability
- Use analytics to provide insights into portfolio and collections performance and various business segments to drive improvement in portfolios and identify high risk segments and opportunities. Provide analysis and recommendations from insights into customer profiling, customer behaviour and credit performance and devise solutions to acquire profitable portfolio by balancing risk and reward.
- Automate the manual processes for improving efficiency and reduce errors due to manual calculations across portfolio and collections MIS comprising of all performance metrics – Resolutions, normalization, recoveries etc.
- Use analytics to drive improvement in portfolios and identify high risk segments and opportunities. Provide analysis and recommendations from insights into customer profiling, customer behaviour and credit performance and devise solutions to acquire profitable portfolio by balancing risk and reward.
- Analyse scope for improvement in processes using SAS toolset ( SAS, SQL, VBA, Macros, R, Python, E-miner) reduces lead time and aligns to overall banks strategic direction towards automation
- Portfolio segment analysis and decks for senior managements using tools. Support team in account management activities like CLI, Top-ups & Risk based strategies
- Coordinate with IT and other departments for timely availability of data for CBG.
- Ensure governance within the unit and ensure all audit items are closed on timely basis.
- Ensure all processes are documented.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important to drive change.
- Mentor, motivate and help develop the skills of team members.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
- Experienced professional in Credit Analytics for minimum of 7 years
- Working knowledge of Portfolio monitoring, MIS reporting and regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of Statistical and Analytics tools –SAS, SQL, ORACLE etc
- Sound banking knowledge
- Sound knowledge of any key consumer banking products
- Understanding of Credit Risk at a broad level and working knowledge of Retail Portfolios.
