Job Description

Job Purpose

The mission of the GCOO Business Management function is to make the GCOO function an enabler of technology and state-of-art processing for our business lines to better serve existing and potential FAB customers, globally. Group Chief Operating Officer's Business Management department entails 6 critical functions:

  1. FABRIC (FAB's Research and Innovation Center) for providing the innovation tools and instilling the innovation culture in the way FAB operates while spearheading the exploration for the cutting-edge tech in banking;
  2. GCOO Operations Transformation for large transformational programs related to Group Operations;
  3. GCOO Business Process Management for Process reengineering, Operations Support and group-wide process documentation;
  4. GCOO Projects & Partnerships for specific projects, especially involving external partners or vendor;
  5. GCOO Financial Performance tracking and reporting for all departments.
  6. GCOO Strategy & Planning for steering GCOO teams into the direction set by the Bank leadership and Group Strategy and aligning goals, team structures and reporting accordingly. GCOO events and comms are also managed by the team

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the definition and formalization of FAB reporting and dashboards for GCOO area, in collaboration with relevan units (e.g. Finance, DAAI, Customer Experience, HR, Group Audit).
  • Support the definition of BSC for GCOO and his direct reports (N2), in collaboration with Group Strategy.
  • Support monitoring and periodick tracking of performance and achievements related to BSC (GCOO and N2s level).
  • Support the monitoring and tracking of Audit open items for GCOO area, in collaboration with Group Audit.
  • Support the production of reports and documents for GCOO monthly meetings with relevant stakeholders.

  • Support the continuous development and effective delivery of GCOO’s strategic ambitions in a fast paced.
  • Promote the organization’s values and ethics in all activities within the team in order to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the bank.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Technology, Engineer or Business Administration.

Minimum Experience

  • 5-10+ years of experience in banking, financial or reporting role.
  • Consulting back-ground preferable

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in financial and reporting roles/ projects (preferably in the financial industry).
