Job Purpose

To represent FAB FX & Rates Trading in India such that he/she is promoting FAB as the leading Global provider of India financial products while strictly complying with the bank’s risk management framework.

Enhance the Products desk (and Global Markets) in a holistic manner for example, supporting the Bank’s India strategy and objectives to grow its customer base, and product and service offering, systematic and procedural improvements etc.

• Support distribution avenues to enhance the flow business
• Produce market commentary where required
• Provide pricing to facilitate customer business
• Accompany sales on customer visits, be available for customer calls

Key Accountabilities

• Identifies when there’s a shift in  FX & Rates Team’s strategic direction and acts accordingly such that the team will continue to have competitive advantage
• Responsible for working within the desk risk and stop loss limits delegated by Regional head of FX & Rates trading Asia
• Ensure team compliance with all appropriate limits including counterparty limits
• Oversee CB regulatory requirements on Asian currencies
• Work with GM team to identify and build the India Product capability and roll-out for Indian clients.
• Responsible for ensuring swift and consistent pricing to all internal and external customers on INR FX & Rates financial products
• Displays strength of character and charisma to inspire confidence, trust, and loyalty both internally and externally.
• Build a reputation of the trading team such that it will not only attract talents but also retain the staff
• Able to work across organizational department to create synergies within the Bank and optimize the Bank’s resources
• Liaise with other desk heads to ensure most efficient use of cross desk liquidity positions.

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience within the financial markets covering the related products
• Minimum education achieved undergraduate degree
• Proven track record of team work
• Proven track record on managing risk effectively hitting financial targets
• Exceptional technical skills and product knowledge
• Good communication skills
