Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for building and driving a transformational performance management strategy which encompasses a forward-thinking, data driven and innovative approached to the future focus of FAB. This will require significant change management efforts requiring working with multiple stakeholders across the business. In addition, managing the development and implementation of Performance Management framework in order to measure and improve FAB’s people performance. Provide support to other assessment and talent management functional requirements include provide TM support to departments, competency framework design and roll-out and ad hoc assessment requests. Responsible for leading TM’s education of the business in core TM and PM principles and approach.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Performance Management Design
- Lead the banks performance management offering including:
- Work with key stakeholders to identify a transformational performance management strategy for FAB.
- Design Performance Management strategy bank-wide, ensuring full alignment of Performance Management principles with established HR and bank-wide strategy and ensure that the performance management system supports the achievement of Performance Management objectives.
- Research best practice and forward thinking approaches to performance management, use this information to continuously evolve PM at FAB, sharing the learning with TM and the wider HR team
- Identify, design and implement a system to support with bringing the performance management philosophy to life, system should be mobile enabled and cover all parts of the process including check-ins
- Implement change in FAB with regard to performance management. Work with Reward and Strategy to ensure alignment in philosophy and process. Utilise change management techniques to ensure that uptake to the process is effective.
- Ensure integration of Performance Management system in line with other core FAB systems
- Manage the design, development and implementation of Performance Management programs, processes and standards throughout FAB which includes building a performance culture and capability.
- Create and manage the performance management policy
- Utilizes AI and data analytics to provide insights and guide future decision making
Performance Management Process Execution
- Manage the execution of Performance Management process in line with the agreed design, policy and procedures.
- Ensure that all Performance Management related timelines are adhered to by tracking progress and reporting in a timely manner.
- Lead cycle review with key stakeholders, including analysis of this review and proposed updates for future cycles
- Aggregate reporting of performance management (bank wide, dept lense and other on request)
Performance Management Awareness Initiatives
- Coordinate with stakeholders from the Learning & Talent Development teams to develop an effective awareness campaign around performance management.
- Identify solutions and improvement initiatives for improving the effectiness of Performance Management Program at FAB.
Support to General TM and Assessment
- Provide direct TM support to identified departments across FAB, including working closely with the BP, department and key stakeholders to cover all TM processes such as talent reviews, succession, assessment, etc
- Integrate the FAB behavioral competencies framework into core HR processes and lead the roll-out and communication of the competencies bank-wide
- Provide adhoc assessment support in the capacity of an assessor; including interpreting psychometric data, conducting candidate briefings, interviews, reports, feedback to candidates and line managers
- Lead the Talent Management education imitative, including the intranet / Workplace pages, providing awareness and insight to Assessment, Performance and Talent Management across FAB
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is preferred
Minimum Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in HR
- Experienced in leading and implementing transformational performance management
- Experienced in data analytics
- Experienced in change management
