FLINT is seeking a Journeyperson B-Pressure Hand Welder with experience working in a shop environment on carbon and stainless steels for a permanent position in Cold Lake, Alberta starting March 2, 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule, 8-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to relocate at their own expense are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ industrial welding experience.
  • Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate/ticket. 
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: 
    • CSTS-2020 
  • Possess the mandatory welding tickets: 
    • B-Pressure 
    • CWB 
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions. 
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. 
  • Must have own reliable transportation to site. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits. 

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
