FLINT is seeking Journeyperson Stainless Steel Rig Welders with a minimum of 5 years’ stainless steel industrial welding experience for a temporary assignment in Cold Lake, Alberta starting February 23 through March 31. In this position, you will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule, 8-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply. 

• Minimum 5 years’ stainless steel welding experience in O&G or heavy industrial environments. 
• Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate/ticket. 
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: 
  • CSTS-2020 
• Possess the mandatory welding tickets: 
  • B-Pressure 
  • Class-A 
  • CWB 
  • FCAW/MCAW 
• Must have a fully equipped welding truck with valid registration and insurance. 
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions. 
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. 

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
