Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create test plans.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and effective testing of new features and bug fixes.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues in the test environments and escalate as necessary.
  • You will report to an Engineering Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • You should hae 5+ years of experience as an SDET or in a similar role in software development and testing
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby
  • Experience with agentic AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) and spec-driven agentic development.
  • Test Planning (PBI Analysis, Establishing Priorities, Providing Estimates)
  • Test Design (Create/Review Test Procedures, Create/Review Test Conditions, Identify/Create Test Data)
  • Test Execution (Execute Test Procedures, Create/Triage Bugs, Status Reporting, Provide Requirements Traceability)
  • Experience with XML and CSV formats for test data generation.
  • Experience with UAT and Production implementation & support.
  • Validates Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), assuring the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of the programming interfaces
  • Technical Aptitude in system interoperability procedures.
  • Experience with SQL commands to create, store, retrieve, and modify data in a database
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or similar.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure
