Job description
We are looking for a experienced senior analyst to support customer-facing and internal applications deployed on Microsoft Azure. You will be a technical escalation point for the team, ensuring service availability, contributing to incident resolution and driving continuous improvements.
You will collaborate with developers, product teams and operations to diagnose complex issues, ensure adherence to Service level agreements and support service availability of the applications
- Be a senior technical escalation point for application and platform incidents
- Guide junior engineers within the team
- Provide deep-dive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for applications deployed on Azure (App services, Functions, SQL, Service Bus)
- Collaborate with development teams in assessment sessions to resolve defects and performance issues
- Ensure Service level agreement compliance and maintain availability
- Participate in major incident management, providing, impact analysis and help with restoration of services that process high volumes of transactions
- Monitor and validate application releases, support deployment activities and help identify issues early
- Manage documentation in confluence and ensure team knowledge is up to date
- Work with service Now for incident, problem and change management
- Identify opportunities for automation, tooling or improvements in monitoring
- Expectation to provide on call support (but not immediately)
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Relevant University degree/Technical specialty
- Experience overseeing/logging tools (AppInsights, Log Analytics, or equivalent
- Certification in Azure
- 5+ years in Appsupport, production support roles
- Experience supporting applications on Microsoft Azure
- Strong communication skills, ability to assess incidents, and coordinate across teams
