We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support the daily operational activities of our fast-paced startup environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across multiple business functions while contributing to the smooth execution of operational processes. The successful candidate will work closely with various internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring operational efficiency and delivering excellent support to both customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support, including order fulfillment, delivery coordination, data management, and administrative activities.
  • Liaise and coordinate with data vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Perform accurate data entry, updates, and maintenance of operational records and databases.
  • Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of customer requests and operational issues.
  • Support the implementation and adherence of company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Monitor assigned tasks and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
  • Identify and escalate operational issues when necessary, while proactively driving solutions and improvements.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in administrative, operational, or customer support roles is an advantage but not required.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.
  • High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate and timely work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to challenge existing processes constructively and contribute improvement ideas where appropriate.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Experience with other business applications is an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
