Job Description

 

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for driving product strategy, business performance, and end-to-end lifecycle ownership, while ensuring effective execution through Agile delivery practices. You will operate at both a portfolio and product level, taking accountability for defining direction, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring successful delivery of customer-centric solutions.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate market needs and business objectives into actionable plans, ensuring alignment between strategy, customer value, and delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and client needs.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering through to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Translate market insights, customer needs, and product strategy into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, epics, and backlog items.
  • Manage, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, technical requirements, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, stakeholders) to ensure high-quality and timely product delivery.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming and sprint reviews, and actively participate in all sprint activities.
  • Assess and prioritise defects, technical debt, and non-functional requirements alongside feature development to ensure continuous product quality improvement.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and drive product adoption and commercial outcomes.
  • Develop and support Go-to-Market strategies and execution plans for new features and product releases.
  • Communicate product direction, progress, and priorities clearly to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Identify risks and proactively address blockers to ensure successful delivery and team productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.

Qualifications

More about you

  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, with hands-on experience in AI/ML products, or
  • A degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline, complemented by strong upskilling in:
    • Data analysis
    • AI fundamentals
  • 2-3 years of experience in a product-focused role with ownership of strategy and delivery
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in B2B environments (FinTech/Financial Services preferred)
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management
  • Experience delivering product launches and enhancements
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skill
