Job Description

What You’ll Do

Design High-Quality Visual Experiences
Create polished UI with a focus on motion, illustration, composition, and interaction details—bringing clarity and personality to complex experiences.

Execute Within Design Systems (Atlas, SDUI)
Apply and extend system components to deliver consistent, scalable UI. Contribute improvements through patterns, documentation, and feedback loops.

Ship Against Real Product Timelines
Work closely with Product and Engineering to deliver production-ready designs aligned to roadmap priorities, especially through component-based delivery.

Contribute to VisionType & Future Concepts
Help translate emerging ideas, roadmap features, and new patterns into cohesive, forward-looking design work.

Partner Cross-Functionally
Collaborate with Engineering, UXR, Product, and Marketing to ensure designs are feasible, validated, and aligned with brand and business goals.

Support Design Quality & Operations
Contribute to documentation, async communication, and lightweight QA practices that improve consistency and system adoption.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years designing digital products with a strong focus on visual and interaction design
  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI craft, motion, and attention to detail
  • Experience working within modern design systems and component-driven environments
  • Strong execution skills—able to take work from concept to production-ready assets
  • Comfortable working closely with engineers and understanding implementation constraints
  • Ability to iterate quickly and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Experience creating and maintaining design system documentation and usage guidelines
  • Strong async communication habits (Loom, written walkthroughs, design rationale)
  • Ability to apply lightweight QA practices to ensure visual and system consistency
  • Familiarity with intake and evaluation of new components and pattern evolution
  • Experience designing for SDUI or componentized front-end architectures
  • Ability to translate ambiguous ideas into clear, testable design concepts
  • Experience collaborating on early-stage feasibility with engineering partners
  • Strong cross-functional ideation with Product, Data Science, and visualization teams
  • Experience preparing work for UXR and iterating based on findings
  • Ability to align design output with GTM and marketing needs
  • Experience contributing to vision artifacts or future-state design explorations
  • Strong visual craft across motion, illustration, layout, and interaction detail
  • Experience using AI-driven design tools and functions
