Job Description

As an Data Engineer Xcelerator, you will develop ETL solutions that deliver measurable benefits. You will focus on building scalable data pipelines, improving data accessibility, and collaborating with teams to automate processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop ETL pipelines that transform complex data into applicable business insights.
  • You will write and improve SQL queries for data analysis and profiling.
  • Develop data solutions in Python and integrate with third-party APIs.
  • You will collaborate with team members to identify process gaps and opportunities for automation.
  • Implement data tier standards by creating well-structured gold and silver data sets to improve accessibility and quality.

Qualifications

  • Education: Pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • You must not have graduated more than one year ago.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Exposure to SQL and Python through coursework or projects.
  • Familiarity with AWS environments is beneficial.
  • We consider knowledge of business intelligence or reporting tools a bonus (such as Tableau or Alteryx).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners in both written and verbal formats.
  • Demonstrated capability to take concepts from design to implementation in academic or project settings.
  • Interest in learning and collaborating with team members on technical challenges.
  • Analytical skills applied in academic or project work.

Additional Information

This is a home-based permanent role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
