Job Description
As Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will own end-to-end growth in the Swiss market acquiring new logos, expanding strategic accounts, and shaping compelling value propositions for complex software solutions. You will operate with a consultative, value-based selling approach to deliver measurable customer outcomes. This is a role within an international team and operates in a dynamic market with renowned clients and significant growth potential.
Main responsibilities:
- Drive new business growth: Acquire new customers across industries in Switzerland through targeted prospecting, strategic account planning, and effective partner engagement
- Manage the full sales cycle: Lead opportunities from initial discovery to successful closure, including qualification, solution design, business case development, negotiation, and contract execution
- Expand strategic accounts: Strengthen and grow relationships with existing clients, build trusted partnerships with senior executives, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Focus on value: Apply a consultative, value-based selling approach to position complex solutions that deliver measurable outcomes such as efficiency improvements, revenue growth, and risk reduction
- Collaborate for success: Work closely with Marketing on targeted campaigns and events, and partner with Consulting and Professional Services to tailor solutions and meet specific analytics requirements
- Ensure operational excellence: Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ensure data integrity throughout the sales process
- Provide market insights: Share competitive intelligence and customer feedback with Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams to help refine offerings and go-to-market strategies
- Represent the brand: Promote our solutions at industry events and within partner networks to strengthen our presence in the Swiss market
Qualifications
Required qualification, expertise, skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales
- A strong track record in the Swiss market, preferably within Financial Services (experience in other regulated industries is also welcome).
- Expertise in value-based selling and the ability to build compelling business cases that resonate with senior decision-makers
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics, combined with a data-driven approach to pipeline management, coverage, and forecasting accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at executive level.
- Fluency in German and English
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with established sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN)
- An existing network within Swiss financial services
- Understanding of Swiss market regulations and analytics-driven transformation initiatives
