Job Description
Reporting to the Corporate Risk Manager, the Senior Privacy Analyst will help support the growing demands of Experian Health's privacy, HIPAA, risk management, and regulatory work. This role is necessary in managing the increasing volume and complexity of HIPAA incidents, FCRA disputes, complaints, and related administrative tasks.
You will have opportunity to:
- Conduct investigations for reported HIPAA incidents, working with incident reporters to thoroughly document the source, impact, and cause of each incident.
- Track and guide the investigation and remediation of privacy-related incidents. Manage communications with impacted clients and individuals, ensuring resolution.
- Coordinate with product, legal, and other teams to research and respond to privacy, regulatory, and FCRA-related inquiries, including disputes tied to Experian Health's role as a reseller of credit data.
- Track and research disputes and inquiries, monitoring their status, and managing responses.
- Respond to consumer complaints, disputes, and inquiries.
- Be the subject matter expert for third-party risk processes, supporting the Health team by tracking due diligence status and managing annual engagement updates.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, or a similar compliance role, with HIPAA, GLBA and FCRA-related issues.
- Experience with HIPAA, GLBA, FCRA, and other relevant healthcare and privacy regulations.
- Experience managing regulatory inquiries, disputes, and privacy incidents, with a focus on privacy compliance.
- Manage multiple privacy and risk projects simultaneously.
- Experience with administrative tasks such as contract management and document tracking.
- Knowledge of third-party risk assessment processes.
- Knowledge of 3LoD risk management model.
- Collaborate across operations, legal, product, and risk management teams.
- Proficient in privacy-related tools and document management systems.
