The Supply Chain Security Manager is the key point of contact for all security-related issues at Expeditors BOM. They report directly to the DM with a dotted line to the Director of Security.  

Expeditors may operate multiple facilities in BOM district.  The Supply Chain Security Manager – BOM  is expected to maintain a high state of operational security at all facilities.  Lead a cross-functional team to complete Security Risk Assessments, Service Provider Risk Reviews and a supply chain security resource internally and externally.  

The Supply Chain Security Manager will interact with building management and guard service providers where applicable.  Responsible for implementation and development of new security controls as well as making sure existing systems are maintained.  The position interacts with the Global Security, Health, and Safety Team in support of Expeditors Customs Trade Partnership against Terrorism (CTPAT) certification and the other Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programs that Expeditors has been certified in.

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in any technical field preferred (work experience accepted within the industry)
• Knowledge of risk management principles,  Compliance techniques,  as well as regulatory knowledge in OSHA, ANSI, and other applicable standards is preferred
• Basic knowledge of safety management systems (ISO, OHSAS, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of security practices, standards, and systems (CCTV, Alarm systems)
• Ability to prioritize daily workload with limited supervision
• Ability to conduct Risk Assessments for Security purposes and manage deadlines.
• Ability to present to leadership

• Facilitation of in-person and remote training
• Ability to manage third-party service providers and vendors
• Strong written & verbal communication skills; computer skills (Excel, Word, SharePoint) and solid communication (written and verbal) in English.
• Proven project management skills
• Background in regulatory compliance; expertise in security, safety, and risk management
• Strong proven problem solving, analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to influence various departments to engage in ensuring supply chain security remains connected and secure.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and manage multi-task effectively.
• Robust understanding of logistics and Expeditors business model.
• Incident investigation knowledge and expertise
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation for business 
• Proven external facing communication skills such as customer engagement, vendor engagement, ability to work within our sales teams to promote the program.
