Job Description
Position Summary
The Manager, Technology Management of Documents leads a software engineering team responsible for the company's global document management ecosystem, supporting the systems and services that process, store, retrieve, index, and publish business-critical documents across the enterprise. The role oversees a portfolio of legacy applications while driving a strategic transformation into a modern Azure-based document platform that will consolidate and ultimately replace the existing suite of systems.
This leader is accountable for delivering technical outcomes through an internal engineering team while partnering closely with third-party engineering organizations engaged in the platform modernization effort. While overall vendor delivery is managed through a broader leadership structure, this role is responsible for ensuring the internal engineering team provides technical guidance, architectural alignment, code review oversight, feature validation, testing support, and operational readiness throughout the development lifecycle.
A key focus of this role is leveraging cloud-native services, automation, and artificial intelligence to transform document-centric business processes, reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership, cloud modernization experience, vendor management skills, and a proven ability to lead teams through large-scale technology transformations while maintaining reliable support for critical business operations.
