Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive and professional communication with both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
  • Monitor and track customs files to ensure timely processing and visibility.
  • Ensure accurate and timely client billing
  • Develop a thorough understanding of import customs procedures and apply this knowledge to meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Transfer customs declaration information from documents, or other sources into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration.
  • Support the verification, preparation, and submission of customs declarations to the appropriate customs authorities.
  • Maintain full compliance with all applicable customs regulations, company policies, and industry requirements.
  • Hours Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Successful candidates must pass a background check

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, understand, and communicate clearly and concisely to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Interest in developing a career in supply chain management and logistics.
  • Fluent in English
