Job Description
The role
To perform day-to-day operations, carrying out booking activities and perform timely billing timely and accurately and provide good customer service with close working relationship with our service providers.
Job Description
1. Handle all shipment bookings via different channels of communication, example via phone call & emails
2. Attend to customers’ enquiries and provide quotes for freight charges via email wherever necessary
3. Ensure all data (required by Operations Performance Assessment - OPA )are entered into Expeditors Transport Management Systems (ETMS) timely and accurately
4. Provide truck details promptly and give timely feedback to customers on freight status.
5. Ensure that system KPI events are updated promptly and on time.
6. Check on customer credit status and established rates before shipment arrangement
7. Good understanding of customers’ profiles and handling requirements to ensure 100% compliance, 100% customer satisfaction all the time.
8. Respond to customer complaints and enquiries promptly (with sense of urgency) and provide possible suggestions, solutions or provide assistance with recovery actions whenever possible.
9. Build good business rapport with both external and internal customers.
10. Prepare and submit reports timely whenever required.
Take on additional tasks delegated by Department Supervisor/ Manager.
Working Condition
- No more than physical effort or positional stress required. Intermittent walking, sitting or standing with normal expenditure of energy.
- Good working condition almost complete absence of disagreeable elements. Minimum exposure to adverse or hazardous working conditions.
Qualifications
Tertiary education with 1 year working experience, fresh graduates are also welcome.
