Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supervisor to support both Warehouse and Transcon operations. This role is focused on ensuring the accurate and timely processing of freight, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the inbound and outbound freight flow, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain stock control and perform daily inventory checks.
  • Receive drivers, register shipments, and lead the loading/unloading process.
  • Generate and manage OSD (Over, Short, and Damaged) reports in the company system.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for freight allocation, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Prepare and verify documentation for customer work orders, including special requests.
  • Maintain damage records and backorder logs.
  • Ensure warehouse staff have the necessary documents and information to complete tasks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, including trucking companies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies (OPS) and external regulations.
  • Participate in internal meetings with gateways and customer service departments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments via phone and email.
  • Train new hires and existing staff on daily tasks and global processes.
  • Support the implementation of system changes and enhancements.
  • Provide support in workload allocation during peak periods or staff absences.
  • Promote awareness and understanding of policies and regulations across the team.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, accounting principles, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
