Job Description
As a Java developer you will be joining a collaborative project Agile team within the Master Data Management group. Our team designs business systems that store and manage core reference data, including location, customer, and vendor information for our global network. Expeditors has branches around the world, so the importance of data integrity and consistency is paramount. This is an opportunity for you to be on a high-performing team that serves as the center-point for consistent, real-time data for our systems.
As a member of the 10-person agile team, you will apply your technical skills in the design, development, and testing, of software that will support our global logistics network and their ability to work in harmony with each other.
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or BA in Computer Science; or comparable work experience
- Java
- Object-oriented programming
- Experience with databases, DB2 and Postgres
- SQL
- Customer service mindset
- Experience working on a collaborative team
- Excellent communication skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Programming experience with AngularJS, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Familiar with Agile or Lean development methodologies
- Development work outside of an academic environment

Additional Information
Expected base salary: $85,000 to $120,000
