The Expeditors Cybersecurity Team provides industry-leading services to our customers by protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and our customers’ electronic data. We mitigate corporate risk through analysis of threat, potential threat actors and actions and a risk based methodology based on deep understanding of our own infrastructure and potential impacts from cyber events. Strategically, cybersecurity activities both improve our security posture and reduce long-term resource requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Firewall product
• Work experience in Firewall, Web Proxy, Routing, and Switching technologies
• Firewall Add/Modify/Remove firewall Rules, Groups, and Global policies in Checkpoint
• Experience in Hardware, Software upgrades, and building new Checkpoint firewall clusters
• Firewall Add/Modify/Remove firewall Rules, Groups, and Global policies in Checkpoint
• Experience in Design, Installs, and Maintains Firewall, Web Proxy, and Remote Access environments
• Handle Service requests, Incident and Problem tickets related to firewall/proxy issues
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP packet analysis, using Wireshark or raw packet captures using tcpdump.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, TCP Connections table, TCP Handshake, DNS, SMTP and HTTPS
• Knowledge of Programming/Scripting languages: Python, Perl

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Network security and/or cybersecurity foundations
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Familiarity with OWASP
• Working knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle best practice
• Experience supporting and deploying Check Point firewall devices
• Knowledge and experience with F5 Big IP devices
• Experience in Network WAN administration including routing protocols; BGP, OSPF in multi-site networks
