Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our real-time trading systems in a global Forex/CFD environment.
You will work closely with developers, product teams, and dealing/risk departments to design robust automated testing frameworks for pricing, order execution, trading cores, market data feeds, risk engines, and integrations with external liquidity providers.

Responsibilities

Automated Testing

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites covering:

    • order execution flows

    • market data distribution

    • risk calculations

  • Build frameworks for deterministic simulation of trading scenarios and edge cases.

Performance & Stress Testing

  • Implement and manage stress, latency, throughput, and stability tests for:

    • trading cores

    • pricing engines

    • real-time message pipelines

  • Detect bottlenecks, resource leaks, deadlocks

Quality Engineering & Analysis

  • Analyze business requirements, trading/risk logic, and code to ensure full test coverage of critical flows.

  • Work with developers and quants to identify root causes, validate fixes, and improve system resilience.

  • Build tools to automate operational testing tasks and regression checks.

Automation Operations

  • Ensure reliability of tests in distributed environments with eventually consistent data.

  • Maintain and improve AI framework.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Extensive experience in test automation and software development (5+ years preferred).

  • Strong coding skills in Python.

  • Strong experience with AI tools and agentic approach.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • concurrent systems

    • distributed microservices

    • event-driven architectures

  • Experience testing systems that use:

    • API (REST, gRPC, GraphQL)

    • Message brokers (Kafka, NATS, Redis Streams)

  • Deep understanding of software testing principles:
    functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, non-functional requirements.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills (profiling, metrics, logs, distributed tracing).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of the Forex trading domain, including:

    • order types

    • execution models (A-book/B-book)

    • market data (ticks, L2)

    • risk systems (margin, exposure)

  • Experience testing FIX protocol integrations.

  • Experience with:

    • Docker/Kubernetes

    • GitLab CI/CD

    • monitoring/observability (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
