Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Brand Specialist to help shape, protect, and evolve our brands across all touchpoints. In this role, you will create and translate brand strategy into compelling, consistent experiences that build trust, credibility, and emotional connection in a highly regulated financial services environment. You’ll partner closely with marketing, product, legal, and external agencies to ensure our brands show up clearly and confidently for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Stewardship
- Execute and refine brand strategy to support business growth and customer trust across multiple brands
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across channels, products, and communications
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, voice, and visual identity
Campaigns & Marketing Support
- Act as brand strategist for integrated marketing campaigns (digital, content, social, paid, events)
- Manage creative teams and creative agency to deliver marketing campaign materials
- Collaborate with performance, product, and content teams to ensure brand alignment
- Review and approve creative assets for brand consistency and regulatory compliance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Value Proposition, Sales & Service, Legal/Compliance, and Customer Experience teams to embed brand thinking across the organization
- Support brand storytelling across customer journeys, from acquisition to retention
- Manage agency relationships and external creative partners as needed
Insights & Measurement
- Monitor brand health metrics (awareness, perception, trust, consideration)
- Use insights to optimize messaging, positioning, and creative effectiveness
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform brand decisions
Leadership
- Serve as a brand subject-matter expert and advisor to internal stakeholders
- Champion best practices in brand management within financial services
Qualifications
Required
- 6–9+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and storytelling
- Experience working cross-functionally with creative, product, and compliance teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience of working in a brand or creative agency
- Experience of working with multiple brands simultaneously
- Experience with brand measurement tools and customer research
- Agency management experience
- Familiarity with digital-first brands and omnichannel marketing
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus)
